On Wednesday 25 July 2007 Leeds White Rose Rotary Club is hosting an evening social event at The Lounge to which guests and colleagues are warmly invited.
The evening will start at 6pm with networking and a reception drink offered with the compliments of new Club President Michelle Render. The venue is The Lounge, Merrion Street, Leeds, LS2 8JE.
After a short welcome and introduction at 6.30pm, our guest speaker Paul Duncan, Owner and MD of Doltons, a Leeds centre family-run and bespoke jewellers with a workshop that sells an array of jewellery and giftware items, will give members and guests a unique insight into the world of diamonds. http://www.doltonsjewellers.co.uk/
Come and learn directly from one of Leeds ' most respected diamond graders who has the knowledge and skills in one of the world's most glamorous sectors of the jewellery industry – diamonds. Over the years, Paul has acquired lots of technical expertise required to serve the jewellery industry. Paul will be sharing with us:
v Do you know where diamonds comes from? (not which shop!)
v The journey of a diamond from underground to jewellery
v How rare is my diamond
After questions, a buffet will be served at 7.15pm and drinks will be available to purchase from the bar.
